Care of Your
Simply Silver Celtic Jewelry
With Celtic
jewelry you want it to be oxidized. You need the blackness in the piece to
bring the details out. Never, ever use Tarnex or polishing creams or
liquids! Do this and you lose all the detail. Use a polishing cloth
you buy from a jewelry store or, if you can't find one, I do have some
available.
An easier and
cheaper method of polishing is always available, your hands. Wait for
about a half hour television program and sit down in front of the TV with the
jewelry in your hands. Rub and buff with your fingers, constantly moving
them over the piece. Within a short period of time the jewelry will be
beautiful again and your hands black. Wash your hands.
When you
store the jewelry, keep it in a zip lock bag to keep the air from it.
The best way to keep it beautiful is to wear it.
